No-one has seen more sweat-affected connections than we have! So this is how we cure the crackles and prevent the return of the battery pack to the service bench. First we clean the dirt from both the mic and pack’s connectors with Deoxit. Then we dab a little bit of eGloop in the panel plug or socket, and a touch more on the battery tags and it’s done. No GFC or Club Maintenance Tech should be without this essential fix-it kit!
